Hi! I just want to tell you some great crafts that you and your kids can do together:
Supplies needed:
Supplies needed:
|
Get a sturdy cereal box. Using a straight edge, mark lines on three sides as shown. |
Cut along the lines, forming the file. |
Collect scraps of gift wrap paper, construction paper, scraps of contact paper, old stamps, or magazine cut-outs to make a personalized collage. If your child likes cars or trains or flowers, have them help you go through old magazines to cut out the pictures that they like. If you child likes stamps, collect them from your old mail (you can cut the envelope carefully around the stamp, peel the stamp off slowly, or steam the stamp off). |
Glue the paper on the box, making sure that you cover the top edges of the file to give it a neat, finished look. Let the glue dry. You now have a great file in which you can organize your magazines or papers. |
awsome hot day
hi! Jaidyn here! I just wanted to say how good of a day I had today. This morning, I got up at about 7:15 am and got all fancy for school like it was a talent show. I was kind of nervous though because I was supposed to bring a little chart that had all of my good behavior on it and my parents had to sighn it and I forgot it. This morning I at least brought the yellow report card thingy that my parents sighned. My teacher exused me though because I brought the yellow one! At lunch time, I opened my lunch bag and their was a GIANT SIZED CARROT!!! I asked my mom for it though. When it was time to go home, my mom didn't walk to school to pick me up like she said she would so I rode with my grandpa to the park where they stopped. It really was a great day!

awsome resipes
Hi! I am going to tell you some awsome things. I am going to teach you how to make good cookies!!!
Spicy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies |
|
"With a little experimenting, I came up with these chewy, spicy, oatmeal raisin cookies. They make your kitchen smell wonderful while they are baking. They almost remind me of Christmas because the spices smell so good."
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened 1/2 cup butter flavored shortening 1 cup packed light brown sugar 1/2 cup white sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour | 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves 1/2 teaspoon salt 3 cups rolled oats 1 cup raisins |
Directions:
1. | Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). |
2. | In a large bowl, cream together the butter, butter flavored shortening, brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, and salt; stir into the sugar mixture. Stir in the oats and raisins. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. |
3. | Bake 10 to 12 minutes until light and golden. Do not overbake. Let them cool for 2 minutes before removing from cookie sheets to cool completely. Store in airtight container. Make sure you get some, because they don't last long! |
Peanut Butter Cup Cookies |
|
"These cookies have a sweet peanut butter cup center."

My favorite things
I have made lots of books! I am going to publish mine when dad is going to publish his. He has been working on it since November 2009!!! I want to let you know what my favorite things are. Here they are!
food: pezza
color: blue
clothes: my pajamas
movie: Mamma Mia
craft: stuffed paper animal
subject in school: poetry
number of animals: 4 animals (two dogs, one Guinea pig, and one cat.)
Me and my family have been sad today because our dog, Bailey passed away today because of canser in his leg. It made me really sad because I have known him all my life and my parents had him before I was born. My guinea pig is fine though. What are your favorite things? from,
